Tatiana, of Freed Photography, captured this elegant Hollywood Glam inspired Greek wedding. Julie and Jason's traditional Greek ceremony took place at St. Sophia's Greek Orthodox Cathedral in late September. The very intimate bridal party included Julie's brother as the "koumbaro" (best man/sponsor) and her best friend as the Matron of Honor. For many of the guests, this was their first time experiencing a Greek ceremony, filled with all its rich culture and tradition. As Julie's father walked her down the aisle, Jason couldn't help but get choked up seeing her for the first time. An elegant reception followed at the Westin Georgetown where cocktails where enjoyed in the courtyard, followed by dinner and lots of dancing in the Promenade. Edge Floral created the beautiful ambiance with rich purple flowers, earth-tone linens and an abundance of lit candles. Chris Laich kept the party going with a variety of tunes - from traditional Greek music to hip-hop and Motown.View more images from this wedding on Freed's blog HERE.
