Carrow Rasberry, with the Fairmont Washington, D.C., Georgetown, graciously hosted a fun, festive and safe soiree for wedding planners in the hotel's Courtyard last week. The rains stopped by mid day, allowing guests to gather around the fire pits and enjoy seasonal cocktails and Chef's fall favorites before taking a sneak peak at the renovation of the Grand Ballroom! There was something magical about the Courtyard - the fall leaves, the evening light, the sound of the water feature and the fire pits glowing!
Individual charcuterie boards were served in accordance with new protocols.
The individually carved mini pumpkins held the Chef's piping hot, delicious pumpkin soup - perfect for sitting by the fire.
Executive Pastry Chef A.J.Thalakkat is new to the Fairmont and already recognized as an exceptional talent. Chef Thalakkat has his own line of chocolate, both milk and dark - exceptional!
